With rising security threats, including a 60% increase in active shooter incidents in 2023 and an 800% rise in attacks on faith-based organizations since 2019, the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth has implemented key safety measures under the leadership of Director of Security Mike Short. Short urges community support, emphasizing that protecting Catholic schools benefits both students and society, with a goal of raising $1.5 million for these efforts.
